Cornish gets his 2013 Season On Track

British Championship supermoto ace Lewis Cornish suffered a broken hand in a recent mountain bike crash whilst in training for the 2013 season.

The injury is healing well and Lewis proved his fitness by taking his race bike for a shakedown run at the Anglia Karting supermoto circuit.

This season the Norfolk racer will be competing in the televised British Championship and also selected European Grand Prix, as well as the British Masters Championship where he finished on equal points for first place last season. Joining Lewis in his Nameplate Services/Dave Clarke Racing team will be youngster Davey Todd who has shown his potential this year racing in the European and British Championships.

Australian racer Ross Gurd will also be racing alongside his English team-mates as he competes in his first season in the British Championships.

Alexis Marie Luce: back Europe in 2013

Alexis Marie Luce spent a year in the US where he won the US Supermoto title. But he will be back in Europe for 2013.

Alexis signed a contract with team IFG Gazza Racing for this season. He will ride in European and Italian Championship with the latest Honda.

IFG Gazza Racing Team manager Massimiliano Gazzarata made the trip to Martinique to conclude the negotiations.

Alexis Marie Luce became US supermoto champion in 2012, fifth in the world championship in 2011 and was S1 World Champion with the French Junior at the Supermoto of Nations.

HM Honda CRM F450R/F500R 2013

HM Honda has updated their website with their new CRM F450R / F500R 2013 model. This brand new Supermoto is based on the CRF450R and weighs just 115kg.

There is also a bigger bore 477,8cc version available called the CRM F500R. It will cost €9860 in Italy. Only available at European HM Honda dealers.

Team Blot expands for 2013

The French Team Blot is expanding the team with 3 new riders for 2013. The team will be riding with Yamaha just like in 2012.

Stéphane Blot and Aurélien Grelier(photo) will defend the honor of the team in the S1 class.

Jean Charles Decabooter(French Amateur Champion 2011) will be joining the team and will be riding in the newly named S2 250cc class.

Decabooter will be joined by his new teammates Graig Sauray and Till De Clercq in the S2 class.Ambre Blot is the only female rider in the teamaboard her YZF125.
